Pamela Rubin, Ed.M.

Ms. Rubin has a background in
grant-making and K–12 education reform, and has worked for nonprofit
organizations and corporate, private and community foundations. She
has expertise in creating and implementing grant programs focused on
K-12 education, arts education, youth development, and animal welfare.
She co-created and facilitated professional development and “peer
learning” programs on behalf of foundations to enhance schools’ and
nonprofit organizations’ capacity for achieving results. Ms. Rubin
also has experience implementing school reform efforts, including the
comprehensive school reform demonstration program at West Ed Regional
Education Lab, the Los Angeles Alliance for Restructuring Now (LEARN),
and as a Government Relations Specialist for the International Reading
Association in Washington, D.C. Pamela received her B.A. from U.C.
Berkeley in political science and her Master’s degree in education
from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education.
