Nicole Moore has worked in the education field for over 18 years, helping schools, not for profits and universities focus on issues related to educational reform, improved student achievement and community outreach and connection. As Program Director for LEARN (Los Angeles Educational Alliance for Restructuring Now), she worked to build bridges between Los Angeles' public school and civic leaders who were working towards restructuring the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), collaborated on a year-long, unprecedented, community-wide conversation around improving public education in Los Angeles which resulted in the consensus of over 3,000 community and education leaders around an education reform blueprint widely heralded as the most far-reaching and ambitious reform plan in the country, and coordinated the implementation of leadership training for principals and teachers in the LEARN Schools.

Prior to joining TLC as Director of Publications and Outreach, Nicole spent twelve years as an independent consultant, collaborating with universities, school districts, not for profits and other individuals on projects which include event and conference management, communication building for schools and their community partners, manuscript and document writing and editing as well as organizational start up and executive leadership retreats. Some of her clients have included UCLA Graduate School of Management, UCLA School of Education, LAUSD, CARE, Los Angeles Annenberg Metropolitan Project (LAAMP), LA's BEST, Young and Healthy, and the UCLA Anderson School of Management's Executive Education Program.
